Dance Around The World Children's Concert

Every culture has their own distinctive music born of dance. Join us as we discover new cultures through music around our world. Your Arkansas Symphony Orchestra will take you on a journey to Mexico, China, France, India, plus many other countries! The concert will also feature a rising-star young pianist from Hot Springs Village, Thomas Sinclair.

Bring your students to hear ASO present:

Dance Around the World at the Robinson Center, Little Rock on Thursday, October 31, 2024, at 10:00 am. Conducted by Valery Saul

This program is best for students in 3rd-8th grade. Tickets are $5 per person.

  • Can-Can from Orpheus in the Underworld by Offenbach
  • Slumdog Millionaire by Rahman/Moore
  • Sleeping Beauty Waltz by Tchaikovsky
  • Xizi: II. The Show by Ye
  • Piano Concerto No. 5, Op. 73: mvt. III by Beethoven
    • featuring Thomas Sinclair, the Stella Boyle Smith Young Artist winner
  • Mariachtitlán by Contreras (excerpt)
