ASO Summer Strings is a summer program for string students of all ages and ability levels. Participants will receive daily instruction from a world-class faculty that includes ASYO directors, String academy teachers and members of the ASO. The program is two weeks long at the beginning of June. Students will be placed in one of two orchestras, enjoy theory classes or All-Region prep courses, instrument ensembles, as well as a performance from faculty and a final student recital. Kiril Laskarov will join us for a special chamber music session during the second week. This is a great option to continue studies after an invigorating string academy semester or to get ready for the fall school year. The daily schedule is able to take our students to the next level as well as fortify musical friendships that will help to foster young enthusiasm.
